HavaCoach Terms of Service

1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 HavaCoach operates as an online platform connecting parents/guardians (“Users”) with independent football coaches (“Coaches”) in Northern Ireland.
1.2 These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and HavaCoach Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).
1.3 By using HavaCoach, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and Cancellation Policy.
2. PLATFORM RELATIONSHIP
2.1 We are a technology platform only – NOT an employer, agent, or guarantor of coaches.
2.2 All coaching services, performance, safety, and quality are the sole responsibility of individual coaches.
2.3 The contract for coaching services exists directly between User and Coach. HavaCoach is not party to this contract.
3. COACH VERIFICATION PROCESS
3.1 All coaches must upload valid AccessNI (or equivalent) certificates dated within 3 years.
3.2 We manually review certificates but do not verify:
– Coaching qualifications or certifications
– Public liability insurance
– DBS checks from other jurisdictions
3.3 Users must review complete coach profiles (including self-reported qualifications) before booking.
3.4 AccessNI verification expires 3 years from certificate date. Coaches must re-upload current certificates.
4. PAYMENTS AND COMMISSIONS
4.1 All payments processed via Stripe. We charge a commission per booking (+VAT if applicable).
4.2 Coaches receive their portion of booking value after our commission and Stripe fees.
4.3 Payouts processed via Dashboard.
4.4 All fees non-refundable except as stated in Cancellation Policy.
5. USER OBLIGATIONS
5.1 Users must be 18+ or booking on behalf of child under parental authority.
5.2 Provide accurate child information (age, medical conditions, allergies) at booking.
5.3 Arrive on time with appropriate equipment (shin pads, water, weather-appropriate kit).
6. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

7. LIABILITY AND DISCLAIMERS
7.1 We exclude all liability for:
– Coach performance or suitability
– Injuries, accidents, or medical emergencies
– Weather-related cancellations
– Equipment failure or transport issues
7.2 Maximum liability limited to booking fees paid.
7.3 Users assume all risks associated with physical sports activities.
8. TERMINATION
8.1 We may suspend/terminate accounts for policy violations without notice.
8.2 Users/Coaches may terminate accounts anytime via dashboard.
9. GOVERNING LAW
9.1 These Terms governed by laws of Northern Ireland.
9.2 Disputes resolved in Belfast courts.
